Albstadt, Germany/Shanghai, China: SINCE 2015 (Shanghai International Nonwovens Conference & Exhibition), Asia's largest nonwovens fair, will be held from May 13th to 15th 2015. ANEX (Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference) will open its doors at the same time. On booth P20 in Hall 1 at SINCE, Groz-Beckert's Felting product division will be presenting products for manufacturing hygiene and cosmetic products.

Most hygiene and cosmetic products, for example cotton wool pads, are manufactured using waterjet hydroentanglement. At the fair, Groz-Beckert will be demonstrating to you an alternative way of producing these end products, which involves a combination of the manufacturing processes of waterjet hydroentanglement and needling. Groz-Beckert offers a comprehensive selection of both needles and jet strips for use in applications in the hygiene and cosmetic segments.

All three designs from the jet strips range – HyTec® Standard, HyTec® GEBEDUR® and HyTec® D – can be used for this purpose. Groz-Beckert offers jet strips in all the customary sizes and hole geometries, and also in a range of materials. Outstanding resistance to corrosion is a feature of even the standard material. The material used for the HyTec® D jet strip has greater stability, which gives it even better protection during handling. The primary feature of the GEBEDUR® design is its special coating, which provides a resistant surface around the capillaries.

The Groz-Beckert crown needle, whose 46 gauge fineness is unique on the market, is the right choice for needling. The high dimensional accuracy of the barbs and their very close spacing ensures that fibers are transported extremely evenly during needling.
